Martin Simonsson, PhD
Domain Expert in Machine Vision and Life Science
Martin has an academic background in cancer research with a focus on quantitative microscopy. After a postdoc at Centre for Image Analysis in Uppsala, he moved to Luleå for a second postdoc and applied image analysis skills and machine learning techniques developed for cancer cells on iron ore pellets and drill cores.
He has worked almost a decade with industrial projects as a senior consultant and team leader within machine vision and machine learning.
In 2023, Martin joined ENCCS as the domain expert in AI.
