Yonglei received his Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry from Stockholm University in 2013. Thereafter, he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at Stockholm University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

He received financial support from Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation in 2016 and worked as a Wallenberg Fellow at Stanford University and Stockholm University.

In 2023, Yonglei joined ENCCS and works as an HPC application expert.

Yonglei is passionate about programming and used to be an active researcher working on multiscale modelling of ionic fluid systems for energy, environment and health applications.
