At RISE we are applying AI in many of the research areas where we excel, from research in energy production to toxicological screening of molecules. We do groundbreaking research in machine learning, in particular using deep learning in the Natural Language Processing domain, where we are a key partner in developing large-scale open language models for Swedish.

Apart from machine learning, our work in AI technologies includes automated reasoning, planning, knowledge representation, data-intensive computing platforms, and advanced data analytics.

Through ENCCS, RISE will offer courses on AI, ranging from how it can act as a tool for change in organizations to the deep learning network technologies which underlie the revolutions in Natural Language Processing.
