The EuroHPC JU Summit 2025 in Krakow, Poland (March 18-20) was very productive for the ENCCS team! We had the chance to connect with colleagues, share insights, and actively promote the power of supercomputing across European stakeholders. This year’s summit was particularly exciting, with a focus on the evolving HPC landscape and the emergence of new opportunities with the AI Factories. The EuroHPC Summit provides a valuable opportunity to connect with European agencies and our fellow National Competence Centres and Centres of Excellence. We had the chance to discuss current challenges and exploring new prospects within the European HPC landscape.

Exploring the rise of AI Factories
The summit also provided a unique opportunity to delve into the exciting development of the newly formed AI Factories. These facilities, strategically connected with the EuroHPC JU ecosystem, will revolutionize the European competitiveness. We engaged in discussions about their potential impact and explored how ENCCS along with MIMER, the new Swedish AI Factory can support companies and public authorities in leveraging these powerful tools.
Driving HPC adoption across Europe
Moreover, beyond the formal sessions, the EuroHPC JU Summit 2025 provided a fantastic platform to network and share ENCCS’s mission: to empower companies and public authorities to harness the potential of HPC. We actively participated in promoting HPC adoption in Europe, emphasizing our hands-on support, training workshops, and free access application assistance. It was inspiring to see the collective effort to advance HPC capabilities and drive innovation across the continent.
Capturing insights for “Supercomputing in Europe”
Finally, a key highlight for us was the chance to record several new episodes for the podcast, “Supercomputing in Europe.” We spoke with fascinating individuals from across the EuroCC network and beyond. These conversations will offer valuable perspectives on the latest advancements in HPC, the challenges we face, and the innovative solutions that both National Competence Centres and Centres of Excellence are working on. Stay tuned for these episodes!

We left Krakow energised and ready to continue our work, helping organizations unlock the transformative power of supercomputing. Stay tuned for more news and events!
