Neko is a portable framework for high-order spectral element based CFD simulations, which is developed at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and which is has its roos in the Nek5000 from ANL/U. Chicago. Applications are among others turbulence and high-fidelity CFD. To be noted, a team around Niclas using Neko was a finalist in this year’s Gordon Bell Prize at SC23.
ENCCS is also working on supercomputing software development as part of our proof of concept projects. You can learn more here.
