Event 1: Introduction to Quantum Computing (Online)
Scheduled for November 28, 2024, from 09:00 to 12:00 CET, this interactive online workshop serves as an ideal starting point for individuals new to quantum computing or those seeking a refresher on fundamental concepts. The session will cover key topics such as qubits, entanglement, interference, quantum gates, and variational quantum circuits. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with quantum gates, understand textbook algorithms like Bernstein-Vazirani and Grover’s, and prepare for more advanced studies. This workshop is particularly beneficial for those planning to attend the subsequent Quantum Autumn School 2024.
Event 2: Quantum Autumn School 2024 (Hybrid)
Following the introductory workshop, the Quantum Autumn School 2024 will take place from December 2 to December 4, 2024, in a hybrid format. It combines on-site sessions in Stockholm with online participation options. This three-day program delves into more advanced topics, including state-of-the-art quantum computing hardware and recent developments. It also covers software stacks, integration with classical systems, and high-level programming for scientific and industrial applications.
